Laura Horwitz is mom to 3 boys and owns the offices of College Nannies, Sitters, and Tutors in Glenview and Lincoln Park. She and her husband grew up on the north shore. She has a MA in Mathematics Education and has been a teacher, tutor, and babysitter. Laura uses her knowledge and experience to match role models in the form of nannies, sitters, and tutors with local families. Her Glenview office has been open since 2007 and has achieved Rockstar status 6 years in a row for building stronger families. She can find long term PT or FT nannies for families. short term back up sitters for the occasional need, or a tutor for help with homework or test prep. She has also helped roll out a brand new app that allows families to reserve a sitter on their phone in minutes. This mighty mom also is an avid volunteer and has helped with the PTA, GMPS Parent Board, Local School Council, and GBS Parent Association Executive Council, as well as participates in the local chamber of commerce and the Children's Business Network.
