Linda Gump is a mom to 3 wonderful girls and owns the Barrington and Schaumburg locations for College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors. Her business focuses on providing talented and caring nannies, sitters and tutors to residents of all the Northwest Suburbs. Linda has a BA in Biology From Washington University and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Chicago. Linda and her husband Joe have lived in the Northwest Suburbs for the last 22 years. After being a hospital administrator for over 30 years Linda wanted to find a business where she could utilize the same customer and employee service skills that she provided everyday, but do this in an area that would make a difference for the families in the communities where she lives and works. Linda started the business in June of 2016 and is focusing on finding the best people to provide the best care for you and your family. Over the last several years Linda has served on the Palatine High School Boosters, Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce, PAFA Cheer Board and was team mom for Epic All Star Cheer in Barrington
Amanda Khan is a former nanny with over seven years of experience working with children and their families, both in and out of the classroom setting. After enrolling in college courses to be an elementary school teacher, she began working in the staffing and marketing field with an emphasis in software. By using her experience as a nanny and her background in the staffing network, she brings to College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors a determination to provide Role Models with the best tools and advice to Build Stronger Families. With a life-long love of children, Amanda approaches each day at CNS+T with enthusiasm and excitement. When Amanda isn't working or leading her team to success, you can find her practicing her chef skills in the kitchen or spending time with her family and two kitties: Violet and Ruby.
Learning Center Manager
Cameron Harro is both the Learning Center Manager and a tutor at the Wheaton Naperville North location of College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors. Having recently graduated from Wheaton College, where he studied Music and Philosophy, he gets excited about all different kinds of learning. Drawing on his experience as a tutor in his college's Writing Center and as a summer camp counselor, Cameron is passionate about giving students the tools that they need to tackle life's challenges--from tricky geometry problems to the difficulties of college applications. He has a vision of a hospitable, productive environment where students at any stage can come succeed. When he is not at work, you can find Cameron going for walks in the woods, playing board games with friends, and baking sourdough bread (he'll be happy to tell you that he was doing it before the pandemic).
Role Model Manager
Gabby Wade is a former nanny with over 10 years of experience working with children and families. After attending college in Michigan for Early Childhood Education, she moved to Illinois and began teaching in a Montessori school. She uses her knowledge of teaching along with her love of nannying and children to help others find their passion for childcare. She is hardworking, driven, and loves helping Role Models Build Stronger Families. Gabby enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks with her dog Arlo, and also enjoys relaxing with a good book.
Family Placement Manager
Laura is the Family Placement Manager at College Nannies, Sitters + Tutors for Chicago’s Western Suburbs. At College Nannies, Laura focuses on what is most important to her: family-life balance. As a mom to three elementary school aged girls Laura and her husband juggle activities, meetings, healthy meals, and quality time together. Her goal at CNST is to connect with parents seeking some peace to their hectic lives and providing meaningful employment to the role models. Prior to CNST Laura actively volunteered in Glen Ellyn by managing fundraisers and networking programs. Prior to motherhood Laura worked at The American Society Of Clinical Oncology focusing on continuing medical education programs. She has a Masters in Project Management from the George Washington University and Bachelors in Communication Management from The University of Dayton.
