Jovie serves Winter Garden and the Greater Orlando area by providing reliable in-home child care and specialized event care. Since 2016, we have personally connected families and businesses with incredible caregivers who can watch the kids, manage the chaos, and give parents a bit more control over their lives. Bethany attended Iowa State University and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services. Over the past 10+ years, she has worked with children and families in a variety of roles, including as a daycare teacher, nanny and caregiver with Jovie, volunteer in children’s ministry programs, Family Support Specialist, and Early Intervention Service Coordinator. As a Scheduler, Bethany uses her extensive childcare and family support background to help connect families with the right caregivers while ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.

Since opening my first Jovie territory in 2016, I’ve been passionate about helping families find reliable, compassionate childcare solutions that truly make a difference. With over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, I understand the realities of balancing demanding careers, family life, and everything in between.

At Jovie, my mission is to help lighten that load through exceptional nanny care, sitter care, and special event childcare. I want every family’s experience to be seamless, positive, and filled with moments that create lasting memories for both parents and children.

Building stronger families through trusted care isn’t just what I do, it’s what matters most to me.

Director of Operations

Brittni has been part of the Jovie family since October 2016. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Education and brings a diverse professional background spanning logistics, produce, and IT staffing. While each experience shaped her professionally, her true passion has always been supporting children and families. 

When she’s not working, Brittni enjoys spending time with her son and two dogs, soaking up the Florida sunshine, and making the most of sunny days outdoors. She is passionate about creating positive experiences for families and helping build strong, lasting connections through exceptional care.

Director of Business Services

Raquel attended the University of Louisville, where she studied Communications. Before joining Jovie, she built her career in the hospitality industry, serving as both Director of Sales and Director of Operations. Her passion has always been working closely with clients, understanding their unique needs, and helping connect them with the right solutions for their situation. Raquel brings that same people-first approach to Jovie, where she enjoys building relationships and creating positive experiences for families.

Raquel lives in Louisville with her husband and their son and dog, Sansa. Outside of work, you can usually find her enjoying the outdoors.

Senior Manager of Family Relations

Melissa joined the Jovie team in March 2022 and now serves as the Senior Manager of Family Relations, where she plays an important role in supporting both families and caregivers. She is passionate about building strong relationships, encouraging healthy communication, and helping create positive experiences that make families and caregivers feel supported every step of the way.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys all things sunshine, from beach days to relaxing poolside with her dog Franklin, family and friends.

Scheduling and Coordination Manager

Brenna began her journey with Jovie as an intern in 2022 and quickly discovered a passion for supporting families and caregivers, choosing to continue her career with the team as our Scheduling and Coordination Manager. In her role, she oversees scheduling and works closely to ensure care plans are thoughtfully coordinated and aligned with the unique needs of our families.

Outside of work, Brenna loves traveling, snowboarding, baking, and taking time to relax and recharge. She brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a positive spirit to everything she does.

Sales and Client Communications Manager

Safiya attended the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. In 2025, Safiya joined Jovie as the Sales and Marketing Coordinator. She enjoys finding innovative ways to support families, strengthen brand connections, and share the impact of Jovie’s services with the community.

Outside of work, Safiya is passionate about creativity, storytelling, and building meaningful connections through marketing and design. She brings energy, fresh ideas, and a people-first mindset to everything she does.

Manager of Family Relations

Abi graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Before joining Jovie, she spent 10 years working as a nanny, building strong connections with families and gaining valuable hands-on childcare experience. As the Manager of Family Relations, Abi is passionate about supporting families and creating positive, personalized experiences.

Outside of work, Abi is a proud dog mom to Pickles, a hound/pitbull mix, and Hercules, a shih-tzu. She loves spending time with her husband, friends, family, and nieces.

Scheduling Coordinator

Sarah began her journey with Jovie as a caregiver in January 2021 before moving into the Scheduling Coordinator role in May 2023. She graduated from the University of Tampa in 2022 and brings a passion for creating a welcoming environment for both families and caregivers. Sarah enjoys the puzzle-piecing and problem-solving aspects of her role and feels most accomplished when she can find solutions that make everyone happy in the end.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys tending to her plants, playing with her dogs, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
